Police seek credit card thief

(UPDATED AT 6:21 P.M.) Huron police are looking for a suspect who allegedly stole an elderly man's credit card and made hundreds of dollars worth of purchases.

Police believe the suspect used the card to buy more than $500 worth of goods at local supermarkets and gas stations, according to a department news release.

The suspect was captured on video surveillance (above) at the Elyria Speedway Gas Station, 900 Block of East Broad Street, said Huron police Chief John Majoy.

The suspect is a white male, approximately 30-40 years of age, short dark hair and a partial beard, police said.

Additionally, the suspect was seen at another location with a pre-teen youth.
