New Horizons Baking Co. in Norwalk will receive a $6 million boost to its business, Huron County commissioners announced today.
The company, which manufactures breads for food corporations including McDonalds, received $1 million from the Ohio Department of Development earlier this year for its second expansion project in 12 months. In March, Genesis Baking Company, a division of New Horizons, announced a $3 million expansion expected to add 25 jobs.
"It's just another step for them to expand and retain jobs," commissioner Mike Adelman said.
