Police cited two Michigan men for a little mischief at the River's Edge Inn, according to a Huron police report.
Police cited Martin Anderson, 23, and Kevin Cranston, 22, for disorderly conduct, and hotel management asked the men to leave the property.
A hotel employee complained about the men June 18 and again on June 19 when he learned the men were hiding the hotel's plants, removing items from storage and disturbing other patrons.
Officers couldn't locate the men June 18, but found them in their hotel room the following night at 3:30 a.m.
The men were accused of knocking on other guests' doors and running down the hallways.
Anderson answered the officers' knock but initially refused to open the door. The officers noticed several plants scattered around the room, as well as a housekeeping cart.
The officers noted in the report "it was obvious (the four men) were intoxicated. Their eyes were "glassy and bloodshot, their speech was slurred, and they smelled highly of intoxicants."
Cranston and Anderson were arrested and released after sobering up.
