As far as touring shows go, “In the Mood” has made quite a splash — and it’s coming to the Sandusky State Theatre for one night only on April 6.

If you’re a swing aficionado, you won’t want to miss it. If you’ve never heard a big band before, this is the one to see. Done in a musical revue style, “In the Mood” showcases music from Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Artie Shaw, Benny Goodman, Harry James, Erskine Hawkins, The Andrews Sisters, Frank Sinatra and other 1940s greats.

Dinner will be catered by Creative Cuisine, and the menu will feature baked pork chops, champagne chicken, rice pilaf, cranberry glazed almond salad, bread twists, rolls with butter, assorted mini desserts and a coffee bar. Full cash bar service will be available during dinner and throughout the performance.

Tickets are $10-25 for the show only and $28-43 for a dinner and show package.
