Clyde has climbed another spot in the Associated Press High School Football Poll, which was released Monday.
The Fliers are No. 2 in the Division III poll after gaining one spot Sept. 27 and two spots Sept. 20. The Fliers (6-0, 3-0 Sandusky Bay Conference) opened at No. 6 in the first poll.
Western Reserve's unbeaten record has it at No. 7 in Division V. The Roughriders (6-0, 3-0 Firelands Conference) square off against St. Paul -- a team that has won 25 straight in the league.
Western Reserve, which last beat St. Paul in 2006, was a 37-27 winner Friday against Monroeville. The Roughriders and Flyers will kick off at 7 p.m. Friday.
Clyde, 23-1 in the SBC since 2008, hosts St. Mary at 7:30 p.m. Friday. The Fliers have won or shared the league title the last three years.
