Letters to Santa: the best of Firelands Christmas
May 13, 2015 at 8:40 AM
After one look at our “Letters to Santa" section of FirelandsChristmas.com, it’s clear that kids of all ages believe in the magical man in the fuzzy red suit. We read through them and picked some that might tug on your heartstrings or make you giggle. Others are just plain cute. And remember: if you haven’t written your letter to Santa yet, there’s still time — just head to FirelandsChristmas.com.
“Too cute someday”
I will be good. I love you so much. Thank you for the action figures. And thank you for the candy cane you gave me. Please give me a new car to drive today, tomorrow and every day. Amen.
Please would you give me some more wrapping paper soon because we are running out of the one with snowflakes on it. And I think I would like a couple Christmas dragons. Help me build a new snowman in the year. Help me balance better on one foot. Help me learn new Christmas songs that I don’t know what they are called.
Please help Declan be good so he can get presents. Please help him to stop hitting, pinching and biting.
Please help me to stop being mean to my baby brother. Help mommy to be a princess and be beautiful forever so I know that she is my princess forever.
Help my kitty to stop biting. Help my daddy to stop being mean to my princess mommy and help him love her like I do. Help doctor Joey the dentist read a better way, and help him get his eyes better so he can focus on the words on the book so he can read better. Help Minnie and Blue to sometimes be too cute someday.
Toys, glorious toys!
Well, for Christmas I want Lalaloopsey, Squinkies, Cuponk, Pillow Pet Snuggly Puppy, Magic Orbeez Maker, Monster High Dolls, Loopz, Sing-A-Ma-Jigs, Zoobles, Zhu Zhu Pets, Zhu Zhu Babies, Zhu Zhu House, Paper Jamz, Teacup Piggy, GoGo My Walkin’ Pup, Furry Frenzies, Barbie Video (Girl) Doll, Fushigi (Ball), purple iPod, iPad, Hexbug Nano, Hedbandz Game, the Ladybug Game and Pot the Pig.

I still believe…
I’m almost 35 years old, so it’s been a long time since I’ve written to you. My children tell me for amazing things to happen, all you have to do is believe. I am a mom of three beautiful children: two 12-year-old boys and a 9-year-old daughter. This has been a very hard year for us, Santa. My husband and I had very unexpected surgery within weeks of each other. He had wanted so badly to return to work after a two-year layoff. We finally got the call for him to come back, and that same day he was admitted to the hospital. Work agreed to give him medical leave. Two days ago, they called and terminated him. We are both still trying to heal and recover; now I’m not really sure what we will do.
My children are amazing. They do very well in school. They are kind, loving and caring children who would give anything to anyone in need. They have helped their Mom and Dad so much during our recovery. They help with the shopping, do dishes, help with laundry — all the things Mom and Dad would normally do, but we’re having a hard time doing now. These are not the first hard times we have seen, and our children have always been the ones to cheer us up and help us pull through.
This year more than ever, I wanted them to have an AMAZING Christmas. Santa, you are the only one who can help me do that. Christmas is about and for children. I want them to just have the joy of being children again instead of worrying about Mom and Dad all the time. I believe in the magic and spirit of Christmas with all my heart. So please Santa, bring my daughter Zhu Zhu Pets and a dollhouse. For my sons, football games for their PS3, and books. Merry Christmas and have a safe journey!
