The annual Civil War encampment at the Ohio Veterans Home returns this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, August 23 and 24.
This year's encampment is called "Pirates and Prisons 1864," remembering the Confederate prisoner of war camp on Johnson's Island and the 1864 plot by John Yates Beall to use piracy to free the prisoners.
