See a wild turkey? Report it, please

See a turkey? Report a turkey.

It's not quite as well known as the Department of Homeland Security's "See something? Say something" campaign, but Ohio officials are hoping that people will report in when they spot wild turkeys.

The Division of Wildlife is trying to figure out how many wild turkeys and ruffled grouse are in Ohio, and it relies on sightings of the two game birds reported in May, June, July and August.

Turkey spotters can report their sightings at the Turkey Brood Survey website.
