The group discussed the district's Parent Summit, an unprecedented effort to gather 500 parents at Sandusky High School on March 15 for a day-long workshop. The event, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., will feature parent engagement workshops, food, raffles, giveaways and more.
At noon, Hancock Elementary School Parent Council president Jennifer Chapman and high school principal Ted Claeris spoke. Sandusky school board member Kate Vargo will follow and Parent Summit project manager Lynette Baxley will follow.
All but Caleris are district parents.
