After Erin Hicks’ baby was born, I got a phone call from a relative of the mother, who told me that the baby had been born with two bottom teeth.
She pointed out that was rare.
We looked it up on the Internet, and indeed, the U.S. government’s Medline Plus website says, “Natal teeth are relatively uncommon, appearing in about one in every 2,000 to 3,000 births.”
Hicks’ baby, Alisia Olvera, was born on Dec. 14, weighing 5 pounds and 1 ounce. And with two teeth.
