My latest speeding ticket

I got a speeding ticket a few weeks ago in Sandusky. I went to the court clerk's office, pleaded guilty to not being a police chief, city manager or city attorney and paid my $125. (Yes, I know that Matt Kline and Sue Porter made a donation to the city program of their choice, in lieu of paying a fine. I wasn't offered that option.)

Based on my experience, I would advise paying attention to the "35 mph" sign at the Milan Street overpass that runs over the railroad tracks. More free advice: When you are driving west into the city on Ohio 6, paying attention to the sudden change from 55 mph to 35 mph when you go past the airport.

If anyone would care to post a comment, I have a couple of questions. (1) Where else in the Sandusky area should motorists pay especially careful attention to the speed limit signs? And (2) Do the Sandusky Police Department and municipal courts generally handle tickets fairly?
