The second game of the Division II girls sectional at Sandusky High School met expectations.
There was no suspense predicted between Northern Ohio League members Bellevue and Norwalk in their first-round matchup, and that proved true as the Lady Red improved to 20-1 with a 67-23 win over Norwalk (4-17).
The win advanced Bellevue to Saturday's sectional championship game against Perkins (17-4), a 78-40 winner over Edison in the first game Wednesday night.
Bellevue forced 29 turnovers and limited Norwalk to 8-of-47 shooting, which included a scoreless fourth quarter.
"We lost our flow in the press about three quarters of the way through the season," Bellevue coach Ryan Orshoski said. "But we got that back a little bit last week at Galion, and it fed into tonight."
