Western Reserve improved to 7-0 (5-0 in the Firelands Conference) with a balanced attack as five players scored nine points or more in an 18-point win over New London, 58-40.
Kelsey Wyant scored 12, Theresa Jackson 11, Bridget Czomply 10, and Natalie Robson and Carli Patrick scored nine points apiece for the Roughriders.
Robson took down nine of Western's 29 rebounds, followed by Wyant with seven. Patrick distributed four assists.
Western was only ahead by three points at the half, 24-21, but smothered New London for a 19-6 third quarter. The 'Riders held a 43-27 lead to start the fourth quarter and rode to victory.
Willard 79, Ashland 45
At Willard, Ally Graham broke Willard's school record for career 3-point goals in a blowout victory over Ashland.
Graham hit two 3-pointers, first to match Kelsey Perry's mark of 70 and then one to break the record with No. 71.
Alysun Daniel and Elizabeth Fried led the Crimson Flashes with 21 and 20 points, respectively, followed by Graham with 14. Fried grabbed nine of Willard's 29 rebounds and sunk five 3-pointers.
