The Port Clinton girls basketball team made it two straight with a big fourth quarter in a 44-37 win over Edison in the Sandusky Bay Conference opener for both teams.
Trailing 31-29 entering the fourth quarter, Port Clinton pulled away with a 15-6 scoring advantage over the final eight minutes. At the free throw line, the Redskins (2-1, 1-0 SBC) held a 17-6 scoring advantage.
Clyde 65, Huron 31
At Huron, the Fliers were led by Amanda Cahill in a blowout win over the host Tigers in SBC action.
Cahill finished with 17 points, eight rebounds, six assists and five steals for Clyde (3-0, 1-0 SBC) while Kaylea Griffin added 15 points.
Margaretta 52, Oak Harbor 27
At Castalia, the Polar Bears forced 29 turnovers and limited Oak Harbor to 23 percent from the field in a 25-point SBC win.For Margaretta (2-0, 1-0 SBC), Kelsey Kromer had 17 points while Sarah Weyer added 12.

At Bellevue, the Lady Red defense did it again in the first quarter of a 40-point win over Norwalk in the Northern Ohio League opener for both teams.
Willard 66, Upper Sandusky 47
At Willard, Ally Graham continued her strong start to the season with a game-high 17 points in a 19-point win over Upper Sandusky.
Napoleon 59, Sandusky 26
At Napoleon, the Blue Streaks lost by 33 in the Greater Buckeye Conference opener, 59-26. Sandusky was led by Bri Crowe with seven points while Amber Johnson scored six and Cara Croom added three.
Tiffin Calvert 57, Danbury 37
At DanburyTwp., a 17-1 second quarter propelled visiting Tiffin Calvert past Danbury in a non-conference game at Danbury High School.
