SBC, NOL face off in baseball all-star game today

The first annual 'Legends of the Fall' All-Star Game between baseball players from the Northern Ohio League and Sandusky Bay Conference will be played at 5:30 p.m. today at Heidelberg University's Peaceful Valley Field.

Clyde, St. Mary Central Catholic, Edison and Port Clinton do not have players on the SBC roster. In replace of those schools, the roster was filled out by players from Sandusky, Fremont Ross and Upper Sandusky.

Norwalk's coaching staff, guided by head coach Wes Douglas, will lead the NOL team. The Truckers won the league this season with a mark of 20-5 overall, 12-2 NOL.

The Perkins coaching staff, guided by the assistants, will lead the SBC team. The Pirates won the conference this season for a sixth straight year with a mark of 17-6 overall, 13-1 SBC.
