After falling behind in the first inning, the Tigers retook the lead from St. Mary CC in the fourth inning and rolled from there in a 7-2 win on Monday at Huron's Woodlands Elementary.
Brandon Green took a Drew Enderle pitch over the fence in left field to give the Panthers a 2-1 lead in the first inning before the Tigers responded with seven unanswered runs.
Enderle allowed only two more hits after the first inning in a complete-game performance, striking out six batters with three walks.
Ryan Pickett had three hits with a pair of RBIs and scored once for Huron (8-4, 4-2), as five other players all had a base hit. Pickett has played just six games this spring, but is 9-for-13 batting for a .692 average.
Troy Delamatre added one RBI and scored twice, and Cody Thompson, Jake Justus, Enderle and Zach Souter all scored a run.
"I thought we had a lot of good plate appearances tonight. We were able to battle and either get a hit or walk after being behind in the count early," Huron coach Dustin Kastor said. "Defensively we were solid and made the plays when we needed them."
Drew Beverick had two singles for the Panthers (7-9, 1-6), and he came in for a run on Green's homer.
