Plenty of partygoers had their share of tequila and margaritas last night as they boarded the Funcoast party bus to bar hop.
In case you haven’t been paying attention for the last few weeks, Funcoast’s party bus made continuous rounds at three hot spots for Cinco de Mayo: Cheap Seats, Cheers and The Pump. The schedule was extremely convenient, as the buses made stops at the bars every 15 minutes.
Cheap Seats was offering specials on 50-cent tacos and taco salads, and we ordered a delicious watermelon margarita. At The Pump, folks were enjoying the splendors of the free taco bar (which was delicious), playing pool and sitting on the outside deck, enjoying the weather.
At Cheers, I had the privilege of seeing one of the largest burritos known to man, which weighed in at about six pounds. (Not surprisingly, the burrito-eater happens to be a huge fan of the Travel Channel’s “Man vs. Food.”)
All in all, the celebrators of Cinco de Mayo (and, of course, Funcoast) had a great time. Want proof?
