MILAN 

Pinned inside a cab for hours, his legs crushed by the weight of his semi trailer, Tom Newyear’s thoughts centered on staying awake each agonizing moment. 

He wanted to escape to see another day. 

Months after rescue workers pulled him out, the struggle to fully regain his life is only beginning.
