Sandusky County Sheriff's deputy accused of stealing $25,000

State Auditor Mary Taylor's office released a report Tuesday verifying the amount former deputy Mark Harman pocketed during his three-year tenure at the head of the Sandusky County Sheriff's civil office.
Harman is accused of stealing $25,500. He was indicted June 26 on two felony charges of theft. If convicted, he could be sentenced to 61/2 years in prison and ordered to pay up to $15,000 in fines.
