PORT CLINTON
Dave Norwine spent more than half his life at Magruder Hospital.
Now, Cliff Harmon is taking over his lifework.
Harmon will start June 4 and serve as president while Norwine will continue to serve as chief executive officer until the end of July.
Harmon was the administrator at Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan, Ohio.
Norwine has known Harmon for more than 20 years since they both served on the Small and Rural Hospital Committee of the Ohio Hospital Association.
"I had no idea he would be applying for the position," Norwine said. "I know that he worked in very small hospital communities like I did. He's a familiar face and familiar name."
