Police seek info on robbery suspect

Police need your help catching a suspected bank robber.
Perkins Township police and FBI investigators are searching for a white male in his 20s they believe robbed the Citizens Banking Co., 1900 block of E. Perkins Ave., Friday.
The man entered the bank and approached a teller at about 3:30 p.m. He handed her a written demand note. The teller gave the man an undisclosed amount of cash, and he left.
The suspect was of slender build, wore a beige sweater with dark horizontal stripes, baggy jeans and a light cap. Police do not believe the man was armed.
Investigators also are looking for a silver Pontiac Grand Am, year 2000 or newer, they believe was involved.
Anyone with information on the robbery or the suspect pictured should contact the Perkins Township Police Department at 419-627-0824 and ask for detectives Darren Martell or Al Jenkins.
There is a reward for any information leading to the arrest of the suspect.
The most recent bank robbery in the township was in October 2004 when a man who said he had a weapon demanded money from a teller at the National City Bank branch at Strub and Milan roads.
